Belfast Harbor Boats

I drove past Belfast Harbor twice on Saturday. I'm lucky to be spending three weeks in Maine at our daughter's helping her our with our newest grandson. Sunday was my day off. I drove to the coast to pick up George's paintings from a gallery in Camden, and then spent the afternoon hiking in the Camden Hills. It was a number ten day - clear, cool, breezy with no black flies or mosquitoes.
On both passes by Belfast I noticed the quietude of the harbor. Boats sat dreamily on their moorings. George's painting Belfast Harbor boats has a different feel to it. These boats are paused briefly at the dock. There is a sense of the season's activity captured with people about. We've posted several other harbor scenes from Maine and Cape Ann, Ma on the website Studio Sales page. Go take a look if you are missing the ocean this year.
