It's that time of year again when our sweet village (www.glensfallsliving.com/blog/road-trip-cambridge-ny) is holding its annual Cambridge Valley Fine Art Tour Saturday and Sunday December 7-8th. We will be ready at the Van Hook Studio to offer a wide selection of oil paintings, watercolors, and figure drawings.  Not too many people know the full range of imagery George paints throughout a year in the life. A visit to 14 Grove St. will remedy that.  Each year he travels extensively across the country to capture the sun and heat of Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas, the expansive horizons east of the Rockies in Montana,  the New England coastal towns, harbors and shorelines,  the rolling hills of New York's Finger Lakes, and the fly fishermen and women along our hometown river, the Battenkill.

You will find paintings ranging in size from 8x10" to 36x48" with everything in between.  George offers a generous holiday discount, especially if you are buying in bulk!

For the next three weeks, I'll be sharing some of the paintings that await a trip into your home or office. Check out the Recent Images on the home page: www.georgevanhookfineartist.com

Hope to see you soon, and if you wish to beat the crowd, and are serious about a purchase, do let us know. We are happy to accommodate your travel plans.

I won't make it to the Holiday Open Studio but I wanted you to know that I saw the painting of the Sonnenberg Mansion that you did for the 2018 Finger Lakes Plein Air Competition and I can't help thinking that the fellow in the red jacket on the porch is me!
